At The Village Learning Center, we prioritize hands-on STEM learning to foster curiosity and critical thinking in children. Our curriculum is designed to promote developmental milestones while emphasizing social skills, manners, and character development. We believe in nurturing independence and confidence through engaging activities and personalized attention.
Our Curriculum
Our engaging activities are designed to promote problem-solving and creativity, preparing children for future academic success. Everyday, morning and afternoon, every class has lesson time that includes introducing/reviewing a letter, number, color, and shape of the week, reading, flashcards, and completing an activity.
Our Staff
We have dedicated staff that are committed to nurturing and guiding your child's development from infant to school age. When it comes to teachers, our standards are as high as yours. Each of our teachers are trained in the following areas:
- First Aid and CPR
- developmental stages of children
- age-appropriate activities
- positive guidance and discipline of children
- fostering children's self-esteem
- supervision and safety practices
- positive interaction with children
- preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases
We check references and conduct thorough background checks based on state and/or local licensing requirements. This includes fingerprinting and appropriate criminal background checks, as well as verification of educational credentials.
We do this to protect the most valuable part of our school: your child. We follow the state requirements for teacher-child ratio.
